So we need to take a minute and wish a very Happy Birthday to the one and only Masterseck of painting infamy today.

There we go.  Now that the obligatory “it’s your birthday” songs have been sung (Everyone else does that too, right?  RIGHT?) we can get back to our normal infrequent posting schedule and random images of fun things or models or painting or….

No wait.  In honour of Masterseck’s birthday, I want everyone who reads this to do an hour of painting and apply yourself, really focus on making some small improvement to your work.  Blend better, shade deeper, highlight softer, try those frustratingly small eyes and get them as right as you can, put a little paint to model in honour of a guy who is an amazing artist and does a lot for our small community at Heroes World.  He’s a good friend of mine, and I want you to do this and tweet us some shots of things you’ve worked on in honour of Masterseck’s day of Birth.

Also, and unrelated, go read the talented writer Greg Rucka’s blog about this absurd “NO GURLS ALLOWED” bullshit that some dumbass thinks is funny.  Mr. Rucka says it way better than I ever could but he’s right; I too have a wife and a daughter who are into some of the things I enjoy, and if I ever see you sporting clothing that excludes them from doing what they love, prepare to be assaulted and semi-naked when I’m through with you.  I shit you not, do not mess with my family.

Okay let’s go back to celebrating Masterseck, he’s way cooler and less of an exclusionary ass then some, and he likes women too!
